What's the difference between lubricating and not lubricating a bearing?
Without lubrication: it spins for a long time and is noisier; with lubrication: it spins for a shorter time and is quieter. Note: Lubricating helps maintain the bearing, increasing adhesion slightly, but this doesn't affect operation and is actually a good thing.
